RCC 25th Anniversary

January 1, 2015

25 anniversaryIn November 1990, the Dean of the Universidad Complutense de Madrid at the time and the then-president of Harvard, Derek Bok, signed an alliance to create the Real Colegio Complutense. The King of Spain inaugurated the building in 1993, in 26 Trwobridge st. in Cambridge MA. After the first signature, the agreement was extended in 2009.

Since that moment RCC has welcomed outstanding Spanish scholars from every area, strengthening the ties with the University of Harvard. Additionally, various generations of Spanish students have succesfully graduated from the Schools of Harvard with the support of our fellowships and grants.

In 2015, RCC celebrated its 25th anniversary with courses and special events organized throughout the entire year.

One of the most important acts related to this anniversary was the Honorary Award Ceremony to Prof. Derek C. Bok, granted by Universidad Complutense de Madrid on Thursday, October 1st 2015.
