Joaquin Goyache, the 347th Rector of the Complutense University of Madrid has visited us as part of his first official visit to Harvard University. The reason for the visit has been the inauguration of our academic year. The Jury of the Princess of Asturias Award in Social Sciences 2018, gathered in the city of Oviedo on May 30th, 2018. Chaired by Carmen Iglesias Cano, Professor of the History of Ideas and Political Regimes at Complutense University, the Jury decided to grant the Princess of Asturias Award in Social Sciences 2018 to Michael J. Sandel, the Anne T. and Robert M. Bass Professor of Government Theory, of the Faculty of Arts and Sciences at Harvard University.
