Strategic Ecosystems: The Future of Competitive Advantage

Date:

Friday, November 8, 2019, 12:00pm to 1:00pm

Location:

RCC Seminar Room, 26 Trowbridge St., Cambridge MA.

Globalization, technological disruptions, digitalization and fast changing environments are unstopable trends.

In this context, organizations of any kind find difficult to be successful in the long run. It does not matter if it is in business, the social sector or the public sector. Competition and cooperation are present at the same time.

In the past it was clear what a firm or professional had to do in order to achieve competitive advantage. Not any more. In the future all lasting advantages will need to rely on complex combinations of elements involving resources and capabilities directly linked to externalities and platforms. Therefore the capacity to be able to build complex but agile ecosystems will be at the core of competitive advantages, value creation and success.
