Moving Towards Economic Recovery in the EU: A Conversation with European Commission Vice-President Valdis Dombrovskis

RCC is pleased to announce this talk of the Vice President of the European Commission Valdis Dombrovskis, chaired by Prof. Christian H. M. Ketels, from the Harvard Business School.

Valdis Dombrovskis has been charged “to steer the on-going reform of our Economic and Monetary Union, to preserve the stability of our single currency and to enhance the convergence of economic, fiscal and labor markets policies between the Member States that share the single currency” (Mission Letter, Nov 14, 2014). He is coordinating the work of seven other Commissioners, including those responsible for Economic and Financial Affairs, for the Internal Market and Industry, and for Regional Policy. Valdis Dombrovskis joined the Commission after having led Latvia as Prime Minister through a deep economic crisis and towards Eurozone membership.
