Viceira, George E. Bates Professor at the Harvard Business School, past director of the European Finance Association and member of the RCC Advisory Council. 

This lecture aims to present the historical changes and the current challenges of EU Competition Policy. This policy is central to the European Single Market functioning has evolved substantially from the original Council Regulation 17/1962, in order to adapt to the several enlargement processes and the profound changes in European Economies due to technological and social changes in Europe and the emerging of new global economic players as China, India or Brazil.
