Pablo  Castillo Luna

Pablo Castillo Luna is an M. Ach II candidate at the GSD. He holds a degree and a Master’s in Architecture. His Master’s Thesis ‘Between Neighborhoods’, explores how to mitigate the socioeconomic differences of adjacent neighborhoods that are a consequence of the urban fabric. It has been awarded in the Spanish Biennial of Architecture and Urbanism (BEAU), IsArch Awards, and WAS Awards; and has been selected for the Ibero-american Architecture and Urban Design Biennial (BIAU), and Archiprix International. 

His design work has obtained recognition in several architectural competitions such as ASAcción 2019, Concéntrico International Design, and Architecture Festival in Logroño (2018), Ideas Forward (2016), and Arquideas International (2015). 

His academic grants and awards include Fundación Mapfre Guanarteme (2020), the Award for Academic Excellence ULPGC (2017), and Fundación Arquia (2016). 

Before starting his practice, he practiced as an intern architect in Mangado and Associates and as an architect in Alonso+Sosa Architects for three years.
