Olimpia Gascó de la Torre (Valencia, 1996) is a Master in Business Administration (MBA) Candidate at Harvard Business School (HBS). Her goal at Harvard is to further develop her general management skills to continue developing her career as a strategy consultant, while continuing to deepen her work around social impact projects.

Prior to HBS, Olimpia was a strategy consultant at McKinsey & Company in the Madrid office, where she worked for three years mainly focusing on Marketing strategies within the Telecommunications and Renewable Energy sectors. At the same time, she led the office’s pro-bono initiative, managing NGO donations and organizing pro-bono consulting projects with social entrepreneurs in Spain, mainly around the education and healthcare fields. Olimpia has always been interested in social impact projects, having been a Member of the Board of the European Youth Parliament in Spain and taken part in and supported various NGOs that focus on increasing the educational and healthcare access to students both within and outside Spain.

Before joining McKinsey & Company, Olimpia did a full-time internship at Amazon Spain (Madrid) while finalizing her senior undergraduate year in CUNEF (Madrid). At Amazon, she interned as Product Manager, working on the online direct-to-consumer sales of physical books, videogames, and media entertainment. During her time at Amazon, Olimpia also wrote her undergraduate thesis on E-Commerce in Spain. She is a Business Administration graduate from CUNEF, graduating with Distinction (2018) and earning the Complutense Academic Excellence Honors Award (2019). During her time at CUNEF, Olimpia also studied abroad, doing an exchange year at the University of California, Berkeley.

Olimpia enjoys traveling, using most of her free time to travel abroad (for example, spending some of her summers in Australia and Chile). She also enjoys outdoor sports, mainly tennis, skiing, and hiking, as well as reading historical fiction books.
