Mary Gaylord is Sosland Family Professor of Romance Languages and Literatures at Harvard University. She earned her A.B. from Wellesley College, A.M. from Middlebury College and a Ph.D. from Harvard University.
Her research Interests include Medieval and Golden Age Spanish Literature; Latin American Colonial Literature; Hispanic Poetry of all periods; Poetics; Literary Theory; History and the Novel; Cervantes; Comparative Study of Early Romance Languages.
