Marcos Rodríguez Millán

Marcos Rodríguez Millán is a Visiting Professor at the SEAS Disease Biophysics Group at Harvard University in 2022. He is an Associate Professor of the Mechanical Eng. Department at Universidad Carlos III de Madrid. He is involved in the mechanical behaviour of different material structures (metals and composites). In his works, he has collaborated with researchers of Lorraine University (Metz, France), National University of Singapore (Singapore), Indian Institute of Technology Delhi (India), Japan Automobile Research Institute (Japan), Oxford University (UK) and American University of Sharjah (UAE). He did a three-month predoc in ENIM (Metz, France) 2011-2012, a five-month postdoc at the National University of Singapore in 2014, a three-month postdoc in Japan Automobile Research Institute in 2018 and now, six-month research stay at Harvard in 2022.
He has been an evaluating member of a doctoral thesis at the Universidad de Burgos and the Royal Military Academy (Belgium). He has coordinated a competitive project with public funding, and I have participated in 8 public projects (2 European projects)-total grant: 1.069.984 EUR-. I have participated in 6 projects funded by private companies -total grant: 449.872 EUR.

He has received four research courses; the last one was: International Course on Transportation Planning and Safety, Transportation Research, and Injury Prevention Programme (TRIPP) at the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi, 05-12 December 2019.

He is the Director of the Safety Engineering Degree in the Centro Universitario de la Guardia Civil from 2017. He has coordinated a teaching innovation project, and he did two teaching stays at Lorraine University (one week) and the Indian Institute of Technology Delhi (ten days).
