Lauren is at Harvard College concentrating in Social Studies with a Secondary in Romance Languages and Literature. Originally from Los Angeles, California, Lauren studies European political economy, social democracy, and economic integration. Her studies have taken her to Spain for an intensive course in Spanish culture and society, and to the United Kingdom for a Parliamentary internship. Lauren is considering writing her senior thesis about the effect of changing labor markets and welfare models on the decline of social democratic political parties in Europe. Outside of academics, Lauren enjoys hiking, going to art museums, and sunny afternoons on the Quad Lawn.
