Javier Moreno Luzón

Professor of History of Thought and Social and Political Movements at the Universidad Complutense de Madrid

Javier Moreno-Luzón (Hellín, Spain, 1967) is Professor of History of Thought and Social and Political Movements at the Universidad Complutense de Madrid, where he has been teaching and doing research since 1997. He has been a visiting professor or researcher at international centers, such as Harvard University, École des Hautes Études en Sciences Sociales in Paris, London School of Economics and Political Science, New York University, University of California San Diego, Sorbonne Université, and Tokyo Metropolitan University. Specialist in the political life of Spain during the Restoration period (1875-1923), he has published several books and articles on clientelism, parties, elections, parliamentary studies, elites, monarchy and Spanish nationalism.
