Inmaculada Macias-Alonso is a joint postdoctoral fellow between the Harvard Kennedy School (WAPPP/EPoD) and the Department of Economics at the University of Chicago. Her research looks at the influence of gender on labor market access and outcomes, as well as the impact of gender stereotypes on evaluation processes. In her most research work, she is focusing on how involving men in care, both at home and HEED professions (healthcare, early education, and domestic work) can further gender equality. 

She holds a PhD in Organizational Behavior from IE Business School, an MA in Area Studies from Leiden University, a BA in Political Science from UNED, and a BA in Middle Eastern & Arabic Studies from Universidad Autonoma de Madrid. She has been a visiting lecturer at CESA School of Business in Bogota, a visiting graduate student at the Netherlands-Flemish Institute in Cairo, and an undergraduate exchange student at George Washington University in Washington DC.
