Iñigo Rengifo Melia

Iñigo Rengifo Meliá (Madrid, 1994) is a Master in Business Administration (MBA) Candidate at Harvard Business School (HBS). His goal at Harvard is to further develop his general management and business skills, especially given he comes from engineering studies’ background. Moreover, he wants to take advantage of the opportunity to gain knowledge on topics he is interested and could be useful in the future, including Fintech, Entrepreneurship, Venture Capital or Crypto. Prior to HBS, Iñigo was a strategy consultant at McKinsey & Company in the Madrid office, where she worked for two and half years. During his time at McKinsey he participated in a wide variety of projects, in industries such as Renewables, Banking, Telecommunications, Retail or Manufacturing; on topics including New Business Building, Marketing and Sales, Digital, Strategy or Design-to-Value. On top of his consultant role, he also helped develop a new practice focused on working with early-stage and growth startups, and collaborated in a pro-bono project with a social entrepreneur in the education sector. Before joining McKinsey & Company, Iñigo worked at Neboola, a startup studio, for a year and a half. At Neboola, he was part of the founding team of two startups: Loopas, a direct-toconsumer contact lenses subscription model, and Bonofit, a fitness studios platform. He later on took a management role at Loopas, where he led Acquisition, International Expansion and Product, after which he took the Head of Operations role at Neboola. Iñigo holds a Bachelor’s degree in Electromechanical Engineering from Universidad Pontificia de Comillas and a Master’s degree in from Universidad Pontificia de Comillas as well. During his Bachelor’s degree he received the Excellence Scholarship every year and performed two exchange programs at University of Michigan and National University of Singapore. Iñigo enjoys sports, specially football (he plays for the HBS team), tennis, snowboard and golf. He is also very passionate about traveling (having visited ~50 countries) and about scuba diving.
