Mr. Geoffrey Ditta

Professor Geoffrey Ditta holds a Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Lyon 2 Lumière (France). He has previously served as an Invited Research Professor of Geopolitics at the Harvard Kennedy School (2025) and at Paris-Sorbonne (2021). He is currently a Professor of Economics at the Complutense University of Madrid (UCM) and a Fellow of the Real Colegio Complutense at Harvard University.

With over a decade of international experience, Professor Ditta has lived and worked in various countries across Latin America, Europe, and Africa. His career highlights include a mission with the United Nations in the Democratic Republic of Congo, managing French companies in Chile under the auspices of the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and leading the industrial division of the Spanish multinational COMSA Corporation in Mexico. He also served as a research assistant at the United Nations Economic Commission for Latin America and the Caribbean (ECLAC) in Mexico City.

 

Drawing on this diverse background, he authored the book Internationalization and Interculturality, which explores the global development strategies of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) through the lens of cross-cultural engagement and economic globalization.
