Fran Auñón Infantes (Valencia, Spain) is a joint degree candidate at Harvard University, pursuing a Master in Business Administration at Harvard Business School, and a Master of Science in Biotechnology: Life Sciences at the Graduate School of Arts and Sciences and Harvard Medical School.

Fran is passionate about the intersection of business, science and society, and aims to support companies pushing the boundaries of life sciences and bringing innovations to market.

Prior to joining Harvard University, he worked as a management consultant at Bain & Company, focusing on Healthcare & Life Sciences, Private Equity and Financial Services, and working across Europe, North America and the Middle East. He also led multiple social impact initiatives focused on education.

Before Bain, he acquired experience in early stage business development at ZeClinics, a European Union-awarded biotech start-up, and in research & development at ADM Biopolis and two academic research institutions in Spain and Germany.

Fran holds a Bachelor’s degree in Biotechnology from Universidad Politécnica de Valencia, where he graduated first in his class, and a Master’s degree in Pharmaceutical & Biotechnology Industry from Universitat Pompeu Fabra. He is a recipient of the Fundación Ramón Areces Scholarship for postgraduate studies.
