Mrs. CAROLINA RODRIGUEZ LOPEZ
Carolina Rodríguez-López (Ph.D. in History, Complutense University of Madrid, 2001) is Associate Professor at Complutense University of Madrid, department of Modern and Contemporary History. From 2001 to 2007 she was a research fellow at Carlos III University of Madrid and from 1997 to 2000 she was predoctoral research fellow at Complutense University and invited researcher in l’École d’Hautes Études en Sciences Sociales and in l’École Normale Supérieur.

During 2024-2025 academic year, she’s been Visiting Scholar at the Romance Languages and Literature Department at Harvard University. This stay and previous ones are serving as the basis for the preparation of her book on an intellectual and emotional history of Spanish academic exile on the American East Coast.
She is chair of the RCCHU Spanish Exile Study Group along with Professor Aguirre-Oteiza (HU).
