carmen

Carmen grew up in Palma de Mallorca, with a Spanish father and Korean-American mother. She is pursuing a joint concentration in Classics and Linguistics, and loves exploring different languages and cultures. On campus, she is a Research Assistant for the Observatorio Cervantes at Harvard, a board member of HACIA Democracy, and a writer for The Crimson.

Her academic interests include Italian and Spanish Renaissance poetry, multilingualism in the United States, and minority languages in Spain. Though it's still too early to tell, she hopes to go on to graduate studies in Linguistics in the future.
