Borja Manero Iglesias has a Physics (major in Computer Science) degree from the Universidad Complutense de Madrid (UCM). He is currently Lecturer at the School of Computer Science at the UCM. He has also a degree in Dramatic Arts from the Replika theater school, and has been an actor, and scene director since 2007. He has been a visiting scholar at the Department of Romance Languages and Literatures at Harvard University. He is the recipient of a CERN two years scholarship in IT division of the European Organization for Nuclear Research. He has been a visiting scholar at New York University and has won the Best Theater Play Award and Best scene director award for “Combat de negre et de chiens.”

His research interests focus on Digital Humanities, serious games in real environments, serious games data analysis, serious games design and acting and theater theories
