PhD Candidate at Harvard School of Engineering and Applied Sciences
Arnau
Arnau Marin-Llobet started his PhD in Engineering at the Harvard John A. Paulson School of Engineering and Applied Sciences in 2023. He obtained his Bachelor's Degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering in 2022 from UPC-BarcelonaTech (Barcelona, Spain). His academic experience prior to Harvard also includes roles as a visiting researcher at the University of Utah (Salt Lake City, USA) and the University of Montreal (Montreal, Canada).

He is currently engaged in pioneering research on next-generation advanced neural interfaces at Jia Liu's Lab. His primary area of focus is brain-machine interfaces, with a special emphasis on harmonizing artificial and natural intelligence. His efforts are directed towards enhancing the long-term stability and efficiency of these biological interfaces, integrating techniques from signal processing, artificial intelligence, and bioelectronics. Currently, Arnau is developing novel neural models tailored for processing extensive brain recordings data.
