Alejandra Rodriguez de la Rosa

Alejandra studied the Degree in Human Biology at Pompeu Fabra University from 2014 to 2018, and the Multidisciplinary Master in Experimental Sciences at the Barcelona Institute of Science and Technology. During those years she carried out research stays at various international institutions such as the University of Cambridge (United Kingdom), the National Institute of Genetics (Japan), and the Weizmann Institute of Science (Israel). In 2018 he carried out the Final Degree Project in the laboratory of Prof. Pura Muñoz-Cánoves (Pompeu Fabra University), with whom he continued working during his Master's Final Project in 2019. He is currently doing doctoral studies in Biology and Sciences Biomedical in Olivier Pourquié's laboratory at Harvard Medical School (Boston, USA). Her thesis focuses on the artificial growth of muscle from stem cells, with the hope of developing better therapies for patients with muscle wasting.
