Date:

Tuesday, November 28, 2017, 9:00am to 10:00am

Location:

RCC Conference Room, 26 Trowbridge St., Cambridge MA (3 PM Spain (GMT+1))

Are you thinking about doing a research stay at Harvard? Do you fancy the idea of pursuing a doctoral or postdoctoral research in a well-known academic institution in the US? Maybe you hold a tenure-track appointment and wonder about applying for a visiting researcher position?

The path towards these goals is not unique and straightforward, and many of them are not unreachable as we may initially think.

In this webinar, it will be covered the different pathways to carry out research abroad, give you some useful tips in the application process, and answer your questions based on current researchers personal experience through this process at Harvard University and MIT.

The webinar will cover general information and some very general advice and also focus on the particular requirements and specificities when applying for a research position in Science and Engineer.

The webinar will be broadcasted using the software Zoom. It works both for computers and smartphones. It requires a very quick, free and previous installation. If  you want to follow this seminar follow the instructions of the following LINK.
