Simulating Society: Leveraging Large Language Models as Citizen Agents to Study Urban Behavior

This project explores the use of Humanized Agent- Based Models (h-ABMs) powered by Large Language Models (LLMs) to simulate citizen behavior in urban environments. By modeling social interactions, individual and collective decision-making, and the impact of urban policies, this approach integrates learning capabilities and diversity within the agents. Aiming the prediction and optimization of urban scenarios, supporting the design of more sustainable, inclusive, and resilient cities, with a focus on enhancing quality of life and facilitating informed urban planning and policy development.
