The lecture delves into the EU bottom-up promotion of democratic principles in civil society women’s associations in Tunisia during the transition process (2011-2014).

Lucía Ferreiro Prado received her PhD in International Relationships from the Universidad Rey Juan Carlos. Her book, published by Dykinson in 2014, analyzes the coexistence between Spanish and Moroccan people. She also investigates migration in intercultural relationships. Additionally, Ferreiro is also interested in the UE international socialization in relation to policies of democratic promotion.
