RCC is pleased to announce the 9th Summer Seminar on Sociological and Political Research, organized by the Spanish Center for Sociological Research (CIS).
The CIS / RCC Summer Seminar is an initiative to gather young researchers, primarily from Spanish Universities to be exposed to the work of senior researchers who are working mostly in the US.
The Seminar consists of lectures by US academics, who will present and discuss their work with young researchers. The later also have the chance to present and discuss their work with selected professors. The main idea is to foster academic debate on the most up to date contributions on Sociology and Political Science, paying special attention to their methodological approaches.
By focusing on the relevance of social networks, and hosting experts in the field, the initiative fosters the interaction of experienced academics with new researchers providing an outstanding framework for future academic relationships in sociological and political research.
