In today’s global academic and professional environments, the ability to navigate cultural differences is essential for effective collaboration. This interactive workshop explores how cultural values and communication patterns may influence teamwork, leadership, feedback, trust, decision-making, disagreement, and responses to uncertainty.

Using Hofstede’s cultural dimensions and Erin Meyer’s Culture Map as practical lenses rather than fixed categories, participants will reflect on their own assumptions, compare cultural perspectives, and analyze common challenges faced by multicultural teams.

Through brief conceptual inputs, guided reflection, small-group activities, and practical scenarios, participants will explore strategies for building more inclusive, effective, and resilient global teams. The workshop is designed for students and members of the Harvard international community interested in strengthening their intercultural awareness and their capacity to collaborate across cultures.
