Lunch talk by Joel Telpner, Chair of Blockchain and Fintech Practice at Sullivan & Worcester

We are excited to be hosting a lunch talk by Joel Telpner, who chairs the Fintech and Blockchain practice group of Sullivan & Worcester, this Thursday. Joel's talk will focus on the practitioner's perspective, including covering the difficulties encountered when advising clients on ICO matters, and ways in which blockchain technology can make businesses more efficient.

Joel is a highly sought after strategist and counselor who was named as one of the Top 10 Fintech attorneys in America by Chambers and Partners in their Fintech 2019 edition and named a “Trailblazer” in the National Law Journal’s inaugural Cryptocurrency, Blockchain and Fintech List.  He structured some of the first token sales and blockchain-based applications, including the first issuance of digital securities utilizing blockchain technology for Overstock.com, and helped Overstock’s tZero trading platform obtain the necessary regulatory approval to trade crypto securities.  He led a panel discussion about token sales and best practices in Davos during the World Economic Forum and co-founded a global trade association for stablecoins.
