Lengua y cultura española desde un país extranjero: el proyecto ARCE (Spanish language and culture from a foreign country: the ARCE project)

El Colegio ARCE, acrónimo de ARraigo y Cultura Española, nace en 2023 con el objetivo de fomentar la educación en español de los niños españoles o de hijos españoles ( de 5 a 17 años) residentes en el extranjero. Este objetivo se consigue mediante el refuerzo del aprendizaje de su lengua y cultura maternas a través de clases semanales que siguen la programación que les correspondería si vivieran en España y al mismo tiempo, les permite establecer un contacto con otros niños en esta misma situación.

El español es el segundo idioma en EE.UU. y el segundo idioma con más hablantes nativos en el mundo, solamente por detrás del chino mandarín, además de ser la lengua materna de casi 500 millones de personas.

ARCE School, an acronym for ARraigo y Cultura Española, was founded in 2023 with the aim of promoting the teaching of Spanish to Spanish children or children of Spaniards living abroad (ages 5 to 17). This objective is achieved by reinforcing the learning of their mother tongue and culture through weekly classes that follow the schedule that would correspond to them if they lived in Spain, and at the same time allow them to establish contact with other children in the same situation.

Spanish is the second most spoken language in the United States and the second most spoken native language in the world, after Mandarin Chinese, and is the native language of nearly 500 million people.
