Harvard Spain Talks. The Education System in Spain: Current Reforms

The Harvard Spain students associations invites you to join us for a Harvard Spain Talk with Elvis Lucas Gortazar in which we will discuss the current and ongoing reforms to the Spain education system.

Lucas Gortazar works for the World Bank's Global Practice in Education and is Director of Research and Senior Fellow of Education at ESADE EcPol. He has participated in educational reform projects in more than 15 countries, on issues related to educational equity, public financing, teaching policies and educational evaluation policies. In Spain, he has participated in various projects with KSNET consulting, the Basque Government, Politikon, and the Atlántida Project for educational innovation. He is part of the expert network ‘Los 100 de COTEC’ as an expert in quality, equitable and inclusive education. He has a degree in Mathematics from the University of the Basque Country, a Master's in Economics from CEMFI, and a doctorate in Economics from the University of the Basque Country.
