Manuel Ayllón Escudero
Manuel Ayllón Escudero is a Master in Business Administration Candidate at Harvard Business School. His goal at Harvard is to complement his Engineering background to help develop the industrial sector in Spain.
Manuel spent the last two years working for Spanish auto parts manufacturer Gestamp in the company's North American office in Detroit. Here he helped restructure the division's organizational model and develop a new business development team to execute the group's growth and corporate strategy.
Prior to this, he worked for two years in the group's corporate headquarters in Madrid as part of the Group Capital Investment Office, evaluating potential business opportunities, implementing special corporate initiatives and supporting the company´s IPO (the largest in Europe in 2017).
After graduating from Universidad Pontificia de Comillas - ICAI School of Engineering with a Bachelors and Masters in Industrial Engineering in 2013, Manuel also worked for a year and a half at KPMG as a Financial Risk Management Consultant in Madrid.
His previous experience includes a rotational internship in a joint venture of Arcelor Mittal and Gonvarri Steel Industries in Curitiba, Brazil, and an Engineering Thesis internship in Todd's Cycle custom motorcycle shop in Huntington Beach, California, where he designed and fabricated a custom motorcycle based on a Ducati engine.
Manuel enjoys sports (long-distance running and swimming, boxing and tennis), playing the piano and getting involved in anything related to automobiles.
