The gap between the wealthiest citizens and middle and working class is growing up. Furthermore it seems that the latter ones will be even worse off than they are now in the coming years. This fact will dramatically influence the future of Europe even if macroeconomic indicators improve. Structural measures should be taken in order to change this path. The poor quality of the public debate and the lack of available information does not help at all to accomplish this turnaround.</span></span></p><p><span><span><span><strong>Chaired by</strong>:</span><a href="https://ces.fas.harvard.edu/people/profile/jmartinez"> José Manuel Martínez Sierra</a>,<span> <a href="http:/rcc.harvard.edu/jean-monnet-ad-personam-chair" data-url="http:/rcc.harvard.edu/jean-monnet-ad-personam-chair">Jean Monnet ad Personam Professor in EU Law and Government, Harvard University</a></span><span>, RCC Director</span></span></span></p><p><strong>Sponsors: </strong><a href="internal:/european-union-law-government">CES Study Group European Union Law and Government</a>, <a href="internal:/jean-monnet-ad-personam-chair"></a><a href="internal:/">Real Colegio Complutense</a></p><p><strong>Contact:</strong> <a href="mailto:///rcc@harvard.edu">Kim Conant</a></p>
