DESCRIPTION:<p>RCC is pleased to announce this talk organized by Prof. <a href="internal:/people/borja-manero" data-url="http://rcc.harvard.edu/people/borja-manero">Borja Manero</a>, an Associate Professor at Complutense University of Madrid; and Visiting Scholar <span>at the <a href="http://rll.fas.harvard.edu/" data-url="http://rll.fas.harvard.edu/">Department of Romance Languages and Literatures at Harvard University</a>.</span><!--break--></p><p>Current trends in the field of education indicate a shift in pedagogical perspectives and theoretical frameworks, with student interaction at the heart of learner-centered constructivist environments. Emerging technologies have an impact on new models of teaching and new ways of learning at different educational levels. These new tools may also change the roles of learners as well as instructors.</p><p>Robots, video games, learning analytics, or tools for training negotiation skills are some of the trending topics in the new educational landscape. Speakers in this round table are some of the most important figures in the field of new technologies in education.
