DESCRIPTION:<p>The purpose of this conference is to expose American and Spanish scholars to the research projects they are pursuing in the hopes of identifying common interests and concerns.<!--break--> In the long-term this might lead to collaborative research, perhaps supported by special funds in the EU and the US for international collaboration.</p><p>Faculty from Universidad Politécnica de Madrid and Universidad Complutense, under the umbrella of its Campus of International Excellence Moncloa, will meet faculty from Harvard University and MIT at RCC.</p><p>Coordinators: Prof. José M.
