SUMMARY:Applications of Artificial Intelligence in the Space Sector
DESCRIPTION:
In this seminar, I will discuss some of the applications of artificial intelligence for the space sector in which I have participated. Examples include collision avoidance between objects, orbit characterization, and space weather prediction. In terms of artificial intelligence, I will place an emphasis on the use of deep learning techniques, since it's the most advanced and developed field of AI nowadays. Finally, I will also talk about future challenges that are posed in this domain and research opportunities I plan to work in.

	<drupal-media data-entity-type="media" data-entity-uuid="727fc5e3-fec1-416d-b996-7299408e47ab" alt="victor2"></drupal-media>

You can follow the event here

Speaker: Víctor Rodríguez Fernández (Associate Professor in the School of Computer Systems Engineering of Universidad Politécnica de Madrid (UPM), Visiting Scholar at MIT)

	Sponsor: RCCHU; UPM; MIT
