DESCRIPTION:<p style="text-align:justify">	February 11th is the International Day of Women and Girls in Science, a date the United Nations implemented as such to try to combat the gender gap present in the scientific disciplines. However, women have contributed to science since the beginning of times, although only a few of them are remembered in history, and none of them are as acknowledged as their male counterparts. </p><p style="text-align: center;">	<drupal-media data-entity-type="media" data-entity-uuid="9c37964c-3dfc-4343-9373-41005e28a435" alt="exhibitionwom"></drupal-media></p><p style="text-align:justify">	With this exhibition we intend to raise awareness of this issue. After hearing a brief presentation on the different factors that prevent the gender equality in sciences by the Science@RCC committee, nine portraits of these women will be hung, all of them accompanied by bullet points on their contribution to science and life highlights.
