SUMMARY:Postdoc Seminar in Innovative Teaching: What can we learn from Medieval maps?
DESCRIPTION:
This lecture will provide a close reading of the 14th century Ebstorf Mappa Mundi. Apart from being one of the most astonishing maps ever made, it provides a good example of how people from the Middle Ages imagined the world and serves as an example of the use of historical documents as learning tools in the classroom.

	<drupal-media data-entity-type="media" data-entity-uuid="ecc3e362-cbbe-4e62-b81d-b49d12411e72" alt="asensio"></drupal-media>.

Teaching methods have evolved throughout last decades.
