SUMMARY:RCC Postdoc Seminar: Escape room in the lab
DESCRIPTION:
In the last few years, escape rooms have become a very popular entertainment. The idea is quite simple: you and your friends are locked in a room and you have to figure out how to escape in less than one hour. In the URJC, we have used this concept to introduce the Physics laboratory to all kind of publics. In this talk, I will show you some of our experiments/puzzles and I will comment our experience.

	<drupal-media data-entity-type="media" data-entity-uuid="3a61ea76-0aec-4abf-809f-c8c2ca883e3a" alt="AD"></drupal-media>

Teaching methods have evolved throughout last decades. In order to learn the different possibilities that Innovative Teaching offers, this seminar will explore how each field can provide ideas that can be applied in other areas. In this way, both participants and assistants will improve their knowledge concerning to how to teach and how to create a better environment in the class, in which students play a more dynamic role. These activities will be held mainly by predoc and postdoc fellows of RCC.

Speaker: Alvar Daza Esteban – Visiting Researcher, Harvard University Departament of Physics.
