Traditionally, due to a combination of factors, instructors have relegated students to a passive role inside the classroom, so a first point of reflection is exploring to what degree students should become active participants in their own learning, both in and outside the classroom and the potential of the variety of tools and dynamics that can be implemented to that end, highlighting the examples and best practices we should all follow when pursuing improvements in the ways we teach. Technological innovation is driving change in all aspects of society, and thus, teaching should evolve by taking into consideration the potential of new technological trends and possibilities to transform the ways we teach and thus, another point of reflection should be if technology should play an even larger role in education and if so, which technical innovations should be adopted and why.

This conference welcomes proposals that deal with these and any other topics related to innovation in higher education. We especially encourage the presentation of works that approach these topics from a practical perspective and through the sharing of experiences and best practices.

	Requirements for participants

Applicants must send an abstract up to 250 words, including 6 keywords, title, author, and affiliation.
