DESCRIPTION:<p>	Nir Fishbien, LLM '16, is an SJD candidate at the University of Michigan Law School.</p><p>	He received his LLB in law and accounting, <em>magna cum laude</em>, from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, followed by his LLM, with honors, from Northwestern University, and his international tax LLM from the University of Michigan, where he received the Michigan Grotius Fellowship.</p><p>	<!--break--><drupal-media data-entity-type="media" data-entity-uuid="43057aba-2d0d-445e-9e27-5742561ffc60" data-align="left" alt="Nirf"></drupal-media>Fishbien worked for one year at a leading Israeli law firm, Fischer, Behar, Chen, Well, Orion &amp; Co. He then spent three years in the Israeli Ministry of Finance. He practiced international tax in Caplin &amp; Drysdale's Washington, D.C., office and will soon join Sullivan &amp; Cromwell's tax department in New York.</p><p>	Fishbien's areas of interest and research include corporate taxation, international tax, and taxation of financial instruments.</p>
