**Audience:** Free and open to the public. Reception to follow event.

**Event Description:** The event is offered by the [Harvard Graduate School of Design](http://www.gsd.harvard.edu/#/news/all-news/feed.html) student group SPAIN-GSD. It will be presented by the Dean of the Harvard Graduate School of Design [Mohsen Mostafavi](http://www.gsd.harvard.edu/#/people/mohsen-mostafavi.html), who will introduce the figure of [Josep Lluis Sert](http://www.britannica.com/biography/Jose-Luis-Sert) and give a keynote on his important role at the School of Design in Harvard in the 1950's and 1960's.

The documentary 'J.L. Sert / A Nomadic Dream' will be screened and a discussion between [Iñaki Ábalos](http://www.gsd.harvard.edu/#/people/inaki-abalos.html) (Chair of the Department of Architecture), [Rafael Moneo (J.L. Sert Professor in Architecture)](http://www.gsd.harvard.edu/#/people/rafael-moneo.html) and [Alex Krieger (Professor in Practice and Former Chair of the Department of Urban Planning and Design)](http://www.gsd.harvard.edu/#/people/alex-krieger.html) will follow and close the event.
