Serious video Game applications has been explored not only as a novel and engaging therapeutic tool, but also as a creative form to optimize the lack of mental health professionals in low and middle income countries, offering an alternative to treat distant communities located in hard to reach towns far away from main cities.

The Colombian case will be exposed giving the highlights of the ACEMATE RESEARCH PROGRAM designed to tackle challenging Public mental health issues around poor impulse control, and specific mental disorders as ADHD, bipolar disorder, and suicide attempts, applied to children and teenagers in urban settings, Public and private schools, but also in Indigenous populations as the Embera and Wayuu communities.
