RCC is pleased to announce this talk organized by the Spanish Cultural Association in Boston. The speaker is [Dr. Alberto P. Muñuzuri](http://eps.harvard.edu/people/alberto-perez-mu%C3%B1uzuri), professor at the Universidad de Santiago de Compostela (Spain), and Visiting Scholar at the department of Earth and Planetary Sciences at Harvard.

Abstract: It is a fact that Nature self-organizes in spite it shouldn't. Basic principles in Physics predict the evolution of the Universe to complete uniformity. Nevertheless at the temporal scale we all live, complex structures emerge everywhere being a good example life itself. During this presentation, we will give some clues to understand some of the amazing mechanisms that Nature chooses to self-organize.
