RCC is pleased to announce this workshop, directed by [Prof. Doris Sommer](http://rll-faculty.fas.harvard.edu/dorissommer/home), Ira and Jewell Williams Professor of Romance Languages and Literatures and of African and African American Studies at Harvard University, and Director of the [Cultural Agents Initiative](http://culturalagents.org/) at Harvard University.

[Pre-Texts](http://www.pre-texts.org/) is a teacher-training program and a flexible approach to teaching that develops avid and creative readers by using challenging texts as a prompt for making art.
