After half a century dedicated to communication, Dr. Miguel Ángel Violán describes the benefits of speaking little and saying a lot. The ability to summarize is thus revealed as a powerful instrument of persuasion and leadership in a hyper-stimulated world, where the lack of attention shakes education and human relationships themselves. In his 20-minute dissertation, the speaker incorporates his findings in the field of radio communication, to which he has dedicated himself for the last four years. Also, some of the speaker's ideas come from his doctoral dissertation on the rhetorical structures of TED Talks, already presented at the Harvard RCC on October 23, 2023.

Miguel Ángel Violán, from Barcelona, holds a PhD in Communication from the Universitat Internacional de Catalunya and is a professor at EAE Business School, specialized in public speaking, as well as a professional at Catalunya Ràdio.
