Postdoc Seminar Talks: Publish, nor perish: Convert your dissertation into a book

After finishing your Ph.D., publishing your dissertation seems to be the best idea, especially for those in social sciences and humanities. But, how to convert your dissertation into a book? How to make it more appealing? That can be an exhausting trip. 

During this talk, the author of “La vivienda en la vejez. Problemas y estrategias para envejecer en sociedad” published by Centro superior de Investigaciones Científicas (CSIC) will talk about the reviewing process and some aspects to ease your work, among other interesting points to have in mind.

Linked to the II Postdoc Seminar in Innovative Teaching, different talks will be held at RCC concerning strategies for predocs and postdocs to be successful in the job market. The aim of this initiative is to show the best ways to improve your skill set and to develop ideas and mechanisms in both Spain and US.
