Location:

RCC Conference Room, 26 Trowbridge St., Cambridge MA

Science and technology have played an important role in almost all aspects of modern societies. Scientific research has acquired great relevance when it comes to effective industrial and development policies. Another important objective of any advanced country is to close the gap between scientific and technological development to meet the needs and demands of citizens.

In this sense, we will host this event organized through the Science @ RCC initiative. The event will consist of a round table on recent achievements of Spanish science, possible improvements, challenges and future developments. We will also discuss the Spanish entrepreneurial and innovation ecosystems, understanding their strengths and weaknesses in comparison with other important global poles of innovation and entrepreneurship such as Silicon Valley or Cambridge.

The speakers will share their experience in several research institutions and new companies both in Spain and the United States: Harvard University, MIT, Technical University of Madrid and Complutense University of Madrid.
