**Abstract:** This provides a brief ‘how-to’ for students with an interest in starting a medical company. Coverage ranges from the initial challenge of translating a technology idea into a working business case, through securing angel investment, business development, partnering, FDA approvals and regulatory requirements. Speakers will include senior business leaders, CEOs and VCs.
