Learning about a DOE (Department of Energy) in Spain. A world-class institution to collaborate with?

RCC is pleased to announce this talk, a presentation of CIEMAT, a kind of Spanish DOE with a wide set of experimental facilities and top level researchers. CIEMAT ’s main research focus is energy, but its researchers also tackle other disciplines such as the environment, technology, high energy physics, and medicine, where there are strong relationships with American institutions and companies. Commonalities and ongoing activities between DOE, Harvard-IACS and CIEMAT will be explored as well as presented as a useful starting point for collaboration with other centers and institutes at Harvard University, MIT, and other academic and research institutions.
