In 1998 he became Junior European Triathlon Champion, in what was the beginning of a very successful career in the world of triathlon. Some of his most recent results include first place in important races such as Ironman Sweden (2017), Ironman Barcelona (Ironman Barcelona (2014 & 2011) and Ironman Sudáfrica(2012). Besides being an outstanding athlete, he is also a coach whose expertise combines 20 years of high-performance with a medical background positioning Clemente with insightful perspectives on training.
