The speakers, Dr. Josefa Ros Velasco, professor at ESIC University and recipient of the National Research Award for Young People (María Moliner) in the area of Humanities in 2022, and Jimena Mazzucco, a PhD candidate in Philosophy at UNED and recipient of the Banco Santander Foundation scholarship in 2024, will present their research on the topic of boredom within the prison system. This philosophical inquiry seeks to pave the way for new lines of research related to people in prison’ identity, reintegration, and life experiences.
