**Philosophical Seminar**

On November 4, 2024, at 11:00 AM (please note the time change on November 3, UTC -6), a philosophical seminar titled *The Induction of Boredom in Penitentiary Institutions Through Prisoners' Clothing* will take place.

The speakers, Dr. Josefa Ros Velasco, professor at UCM and recipient of the National Research Award for Young People (María Moliner) in the area of Humanities in 2022, and Jimena Mazzucco, a PhD student in Philosophy at UNED and recipient of the Banco Santander Foundation scholarship in 2024, will present their research on the topic of boredom within the prison system. This philosophical inquiry seeks to pave the way for new lines of research related to prisoners’ identity, reintegration, and life experiences.
